I graduated in 2017 from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and Information Assurance & Cyber Security. While attending UW, I played Division I softball during my freshman and sophomore year under Head Coach Heather Tarr. I grew up attending UW Softball camps and dreamed of someday playing for the Huskies, so it was a magical moment when I was accepted during walk-on tryouts. In 2013 we took 4th at the Women's College World Series, in 2014 I had my first college hit and home run against Cal, and later that season, we made it to Super Regionals where we ended our season with a loss against Florida.
During my time at UW, I was also a graphic design intern for UW Football where I started to sharpen my design skillset and later began to dabble in UX design. Once I was finally accepted into the School of Information, my passion for pursuing a career in tech intensified. I founded Tech++, an organization for women pursuing a career in STEM, which was my first taste of entrepreneurship, public speaking, and hosting events of large scale.
After graduating, I married my best friend and college sweetheart, Clark, then started my career as a Technology Consultant in Seattle, where we still live today. Today my specialty is in CRM and marketing automation, where I've implemented different Salesforce platforms and digital strategies for Banks, Aerospace and Defense, and Healthcare companies. I have experience with multiple Salesforce platforms, including Sales, Marketing and Financial Services Cloud, as well as Pardot and nCino (Financial Services platform).
Consulting has allowed me to travel to many places, like Malibu, Portland, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, New York, New Jersey, Canada, and San Francisco, to name a few. Inevitably, this blog has become a place to share my love for travel and lifestyle, but also house my passion for mentoring and coaching women as they pursue their own creative endeavors.
Put simply, it's a place to learn, reflect, share, and celebrate where life takes you when you approach your dreams and each new day with a steadfast and graceful heart.
